Celebrities have a much easier path to staying good looking well into their later years, think of Mr Clooney, the amazing Ms Jolie/Pitt and many more. Sadly for the celebrities in this list, age did not treat them well.
65. Demi Moore
Ever since she exploded onto the acting scene with the hit movie Ghost (alongside Patrick Swazye who unfortunately died of cancer in 2012), Demi Moore’s career took off in the early 90s through to the mid 2000’s. By 1995 she was the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
As you can see from the unfortunate picture, Demi has lost a lot of her beautiful looks but does seem more level headed than some of the other female actresses in this list. Demi is actually still active as a movie star and has a new movie coming out in 2018 called “Love Sonia”, due for release in March 2018. As you will see again and again on this list, actresses tend to lose work as they get older so it’s good to see Miss Moore is still active in the industry.
She’s not quite the force she once was though, so it seems that Demi Moore’s star power has been lost for the rest of her days. Age eventually gets to us all.

64. Pamela Anderson
Pamela Denise Anderson (born July 1, 1967) is a Canadian-American actress. In addition to her acting career, she is also a model, producer, author, activist and a former showgirl, known for her roles on the television series Home Improvement, Baywatch and V.I.P.
Anderson likely achieved the most posters in boys bedrooms of all time, but age catches up with you. Anderson has had a rocky life both on and off screen, we hope her career and love-life gets back on track soon.
She’s been making the headlines recently in 2018 for a well publicised relationship with the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange. It would seem that she’s always been attracted to bad boys and a hint of danger…

63. Keith Richards
Keith Richards, born in 1943 and now 72 years old is a rock legend and is world renowned for his ability on the guitar – he was ranked N0 4 in the list of all time greatest guitar artists in the Rolling Stone magazine.
He has had an extreme hard partying lifestyle and it shows in his appearance. He was once described by the UK journalist Peter Hitches as a “capering streak of living gristle who ought to be exhibited as a warning to the young….if you’re lucky enough not to choke on your own vomit.” A funny description to be sure though it’s hard not to take his point when you see how his lifestyle has altered his young appearance.

62. Mark Hamill
Mark Richard Hamill (born September 25, 1951) is an American actor, writer, producer, and director. He is known for portraying Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy (1977-1983), a role he will reprised in the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). Hamill has also ventured into voice acting, and has voiced the Joker in various Batman animations, beginning with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992.
Hamill has actually had something of a resurgence in his career in 2015 and 2016, starring alongside Colin Firth in Kingsmen – as well as the world famous Star Wars movies.

61. Kathleen Turner
Kathleen Turner came to fame during the 1980s, after roles in Body Heat (1981), Romancing the Stone (1984), and Prizzi’s Honor (1985), the latter two earning her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
She was an iconic pinup for a great many years, but in later life allowed herself to balloon in size, leaving her virtually unrecognizable from her younger years.

60. Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Dee Lohan (born July 2, 1986) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, model, director and producer, whose career has included critical and popular success in her youth, followed by a period of substance abuse and legal troubles that have been well-documented in the tabloids. Lohan was chewed up and spat out by Hollywood, and is the youngest star on our list.
Just recently Lohan made headlines again as she tried to sue the popular video game production house responsible for the Grand Theft Auto series. Apparently there is a character named Lacey Johas who bears an uncanny resemblance to Lohan who is featured in the game. Lohan attempted to sue for this breach…And lost.

59. Val Kilmer
Val Edward Kilmer (born December 31, 1959) is an American actor. Originally a stage actor, Kilmer became popular in the mid-1980s after a string of appearances in comedy films, starting with Top Secret! (1984), then the cult classic Real Genius (1985), as well as the blockbuster action film Top Gun (1986) and the swords and sorcery fantasy film Willow (1988).
Kilmer is another celebrity that didn’t watch his diet and eventually grew to his current size, spawning hundreds of slightly embarrassing paparazzi photos documenting his fall from 80s heartthrob to washed up actor.
58. Haley Joel Osment
Haley Joel Osment (born April 10, 1988) is an American actor. After a series of roles in television and film during the 1990s, including a small part in Forrest Gump playing the title character’s son, Osment rose to fame for his performance as a young unwilling medium in M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller film The Sixth Sense, which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Osment is also known for his voice-roles of Sora and Vanitas in the Kingdom Hearts video games, as well as his more recent roles in comedies such as Sex Ed and The Spoils of Babylon. Osment hasn’t just aged, he has grown outwards, we hope he sorts out his weight issues because he is inherently good looking.
57. John Travolta
He was a huge hit in the 70s – starring in Grease and Saturday night fever, but Travolta suffered a massive career dip from the 80s onwards until he was rescued by Quentin Tarantino in the hugely popular 1990s hit Pulp Fiction. As you can see from the picture above, Travolta gained a lot of weight and lost some of his matinee idol looks which initially made him a star.
Following on from his star turn in Pulp Fiction , Travolta made a significant comeback and proved that ageing Hollywood men can still make hit movies – even well into their 60s and 70s. Think Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, Liam Neeson, Al Pacino and Denzel Washington.
Jancie Dickson is best known as being the first supermodel. Her modelling career reached its peak in the late 70s where she distinguished herself by her exotic looks – far different from the blue eyed blondes that dominated the fashion modelling scene during this era.
Like some of the celebrities on this list, she serves as an inspiration to young women worldwide due to her stellar career, and though age has withered her she will remain in the history books for her influence on the modelling industry.
55. Kate Moss
Kate Moss – once one of the worlds most famous models, has aged considerably since she exploded onto the fashion scene in 1998 as a teenager. Now aged 41 the picture clearly shows the toll that age has taken on her. Kate also unfortunately abused her looks and was famously a heavy smoker and drinker – she was constantly featured in the tabloid press during the 2000s for partying hard around the Soho area of London, England.
Unlike most celebrities,Kate has wisely chosen to avoid Botox (which gives the face a frozen look, and has opted for dermal fillers instead.
Madonna Louise Ciccone (born August 16, 1958) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman. She achieved popularity by pushing the boundaries of lyrical content in mainstream popular music and imagery in her music videos, which became a fixture on MTV.
We suspect that Madonna unlike everyone else on our list has eaten too much healthy food, and trained too hard – it’s admirable but Madonna, perhaps you can afford to slow it down a little now and enjoy life a bit more.
Lil Kim (born 11 July 1974 or 1975 – the records are unclear) is an award winning rapper, songwriter, actress and model (a girl of many talents!) Her debut album “Hard Core”, released in 1996 was a double Platinum award winner and she went on to produce 3 more award winning rap albums.
In 2012 to the present she is working on her fifth studio album and a TV series called the Lil Kim season. As you can see from the photo, she has aged rather dramatically, and is reported to have had cosmetic surgery on her nose. The weight loss and ageing looks do not seem to be affecting her career however, and she continues to this day to have worldwide success as a rapper and TV star.
Teri Hatcher is perhaps most famous for playing a Bond Girl (in the 1997 Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies), and her role in the hit TV Series Desperate Housewives. Clearly she is not just a pretty face! However, as the picture shows, Hatcher seems to be looking a little worse for wear at aged 45 as the picture above attests.
As a result her movie career has suffered and she’s never really hit the same highs after the Bond movies. It seems there is always another pretty, talented young actress ready to take her place.
51. Nick Nolte
The gravelly voiced star, a former male model and made famous in the 80s and 90s with hit movies such as the Prince Of Tides (for which he was nominated Best Actor award in the 1991 Oscars), Nolte has changed considerably over the years. He’s a former wild man and it looks like unfortunately for Nick, years of hard partying and alcohol consumption have taken their toll on his good looks.
Like other ageing male celeb contemporaries however, Nolte factored this into his choice of roles – most notably and recently in the hit movie Warrior – where he played a former alcoholic and repentant father alongside up and coming actor Tom Hardy (star of The Dark Knight Rises and Mad Max, no less)
50. Meg Ryan
Now aged 55 in 2016, Meg Ryan was a mega star during the 80s and 90s, starring in hit movies such as When Harry Met Sally, Top Gun, and Innerspace. She earned her first Golden Globe nomination for her quirky role in When Harry Met Sally, starring opposite Billy Crystal (who doesn’t remember her most famous scene in that movie!)
Her acting work began to dry up in the 90s and on wards sadly, for the same old reasons : younger, talented and more beautiful actresses eager to replace her.
49. Ellen Barkin
Ellen Barkin’s breakthrough role came in 1982, in the comedy drama movie Diner, and she had a string of subsequent movie successes throughout the 1980s, including starring alongside Al Pacino in the hit movie Sea Of Love.
She received numerous accolades throughout her career, including a primetime Emmy Award for her role in the 1987 tv movie Before Women Had Wings. However despite this TV success in the 90s, her big screen movie roles dried up from the early 90s on wards.
She has had a stormy personal life and 2 divorces which ended badly in 2007 – and has never remarried since.
48. Heidi Montag
Strange to see a young lady such as Heidi Montag on this list – she was born in 1986 and is still only 30 years old. However she makes our list due to a series of plastic surgery operations which have detracted from her looks and thus can be seen to have aged badly.
Unfortunately for Heidi the operations did not go well and in 2016 she still suffers from pain and scarring that will be with her for life. She once famously stated that car accident victims have less scarring than she was left with.
47. Tara Reid
Tara Reid is most well known for her starring role playing Vicky in the 1999 hit movie American Pie, and her follow up role in American Pie 2 in 2001. She has also starred in several other hit movies such as the Big Lebowski (1998), and Alone In The Dark (2005).
Following on from a promising start to her career, Tara’s star faded however and she is now unfortunately relatively obscure. She resurfaced briefly in 2013 as a housemate in the British TV Series Big Brother (as a housemate), but this is a far cry from her highs as a movie star in the late 90s.
46. Joan Van Ark
Famous for her role as Valene Ewing in the monster American TV smash Dallas in 1978, then 13 spin off series for the TV series Knots Landing, Van Ark has been a mainstay of mainstream American TV since the late 70s.
Despite her longstanding success for TV series Van Ark never made it to the big screen except for small bit parts.
The ageing process has hit Joan fairly hard, though fortunately for her she has not resorted to plastic surgery unlike other female celebrities in this list, choosing to age gracefully instead.
45. Brigitte Bardot
Bardot was an aspiring ballerina in early life. She started her acting career in 1952 and after appearing in 16 routine comedy films, with limited international release, became world-famous in 1957, with the controversial film And God Created Woman.
Bardot was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Actress. Bardot caught the attention of French intellectuals. She was the subject of Simone de Beauvoir’s 1959 essay, The Lolita Syndrome, which described Bardot as a “locomotive of women’s history” and built upon existentialist themes to declare her the first and most liberated woman of post-war France.
44. Goldie Hawn
Goldie Jeanne Hawn (born November 21, 1945) is an American actress, director, producer, and occasional singer. Hawn is known for her roles in television’s Rowan Martin’s Laugh-In and films such as The Sugarland Express, Private Benjamin, Foul Play, Shampoo, Overboard, Bird on a Wire, Death Becomes Her, The First Wives Club, and Cactus Flower, for which she won the 1969 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Hawn has had a relationship with actor Kurt Russell since 1983. Hawn had one of the longest stretches of being super cute of any actress of her age, sadly age just caught up. We salute you for being an amazing mother and for your fantastic charitable work – you will always be beautiful in more ways than your looks!
Matthew Langford Perry (born August 19, 1969) is a Canadian-American actor and writer. He is mostly known for his role as Chandler Bing on the long-running NBC television sitcom Friends, as well as his portrayal of Ron Clark in the 2006 television movie The Ron Clark Story. Along with starring in the short-lived television series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Perry has appeared in a number of films, including Fools Rush In (1997), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), and 17 Again (2009).
In 2010, he expanded his résumé to include both video games and voice over work when he voiced Benny in the role-playing game Fallout: New Vegas. Perry is another star whose weight has fluctuated drastically, sadly this was due health issues stemming from opiate addiction. Perry is clean again now, and we hope he returns to his former glory – he is a true comic genius.
Star of the hit movie “Working Girl” and former wife of the hunky actor Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith had a quick path to fame. She once famously stated “I have a head for business and a body for sin”
She’s obviously a confident women, but age has taken it’s toll on her appearance as our picture shows. Melanie decided not to accept the ageing process however and opted for extensive plastic surgery. The science was less advanced in those days however and the results don’t look as natural as cosmetic operations nowadays in 2016, leaving Melanie looking a little odd as she has aged.
41. Barry Manilow
The talented American crooner was almost as famous for his large nose as his singing abilities. The constant criticism must have eventually taken it’s toll as Barry has clearly had a nose job as you can see in this picture.
The ageing process seems to have wizened Manilow’s face, which is starting to look a little like Gollum from Lord Of The Rings, but he is doubtless still a great singer and in 2016 is still active in the music scene. May have have hits for many years to come!
40. Priscilla Presley
A star in her own right, and of course world famous for snagging possibly the greatest star of them all – Elvis Presley. Priscilla was a shining beauty in her day as you can see in the before picture here. Sadly after losing Elvis and watching her career go off the rails, it would appear Priscilla took to plastic surgery to make herself feel better.
Judging by the picture the results don’t look too natural and have ruined her natural beauty – and unfortuately age has done the rest.
39. Britney Spears
Of the female stars on this list, Britney Spears is one of the most active currently in 2016. She’s still young but makes it to this list because of the bizarre and unflattering image transformation she’s had over recent years.
She had a series of bad relationships, gave up on her career and started to live a wild partying lifestyle, and the result was an accelerated ageing process and some VERY unflattering pictures all over the papers and internet.
38. Kelly Le Brock
Every man or woman over the age of 30 will remember the stunning Kelly Le Brock for her portrayal of the ideal woman (created by two teenage boys no less) in the hilarious teen movie “Weird Science”
A former model, Kelly sprang into the limelight but her career sadly never really reached the stratospheric heights like some of the other female celebrities on this list. However she was a vision of beauty back in her heyday, and we prefer to remember her as she was then, as age has unfortunately hit her pretty hard, as our picture attests.
Yasmine Bleeth, now 48 years old was born of a model and a business tycoon – a great start in life. She first came to prominence in the globally syndicated Baywatch series, and was regularly featured in The World’s most beautiful people for 7 years straight during the mid 90s to early 2000s.
Interestingly she briefly dated Matthew Perry of Friends fame in 1996 – who you will find elsewhere on this list – but is now happily married to a business owner when they met at a sobriety clinic during the late 90s.
Age has taken a severe toll on Yasmine, and she no longer appears on our TV screens. Though she has faded from view we will always remember her at her peak during the Baywatch years.
36. Axl Rose
The mega star rock singer Axl Rose was a wild man in his hey day and an object of desire the world over. With smash hit after smash hit, Axl had it all but judging from the picture it would seem he wanted to eat it all too.
Despite his rather more portly appearance though, Axl Rose continues to tour to this day, often for charity – so it is clear he has a big heart to go alongside his big appetite. As with the other men on this list, we suspect a strict diet would bring him back into tip top shape.
35. Edward Furlong
He’s only 39 but Edward Furlong is really starting to look a lot older. Since he burst onto the movie screens with smash hits American History X, and Terminator 2, Furlong has not unfortunately nurtured his considerable acting talent and decided to abuse himself with wild partying and by using drugs. For a young guy with the whole world at his feet this is a tragic shame.
Furlong is now 39 years old so he does have time to make a comeback, but as our picture shows his years of abuse have taken their toll on his appearance. We suspect a prolonged period of absence, exercise and clean living could allow him to recapture his talent and make a comeback on the big screen.
34. Sarah Jessica Parker
Best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the mega hit HBO TV Series about girls and their love lives in New York City, Sarah Jessica Parker (51) is now getting a little long in the tooth, as our picture attests. She won several high profile awards for her remarkable performance in the HBO smash hit series, and has since moved on to star in another long running HBO TV series Divorce.
Although she has aged considerably, Sarah has been smart in positioning herself for acting roles where she is known for more than just a pretty face, so it would be no surprise if she continues to be on TV screens for years to come. A good example of a strong woman handling ageing and fading looks really well!
33. Donatello Versace
The world renowned Fashion Designer, Versace has built a multi million dollar haute couture fashion brand. Known for being a little eccentric, it must be very difficult for a strong woman to be surrounded by beautiful female models day in day out.
As a result, Donatello has taken to extensive plastic surgery as our picture shows. This includes face lifts, lip plumpers and other operations best known only to herself. However she is reportedly a very happy woman and has kept her discipline over the years, accepting her fading looks with equanimity, unlike a lot of the female stars on this list.
Known as the Godfather Of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne is a British Rock star who started his career with the overwhelmingly successful band Black Sabbath. He was actually fired from the band in 1979, and has since been a solo artists. He has since released 11 Solo Albums, 7 of which became multi platinum in the US – a staggering success rate and worthy of the title Godfather of Rock.
Now aged 67, Ozzy has obviously lost a lot of his youthful masculine good looks but doubtless he doesn’t really care – he’s had more success than most men will have in 10 lifetimes, has raised children, and has more money than he knows what to do with. We just wish he’d stay off TV with the annoying Osborne show!
Most famous for being the widow of late megastar Kurt Kobain, Courtney Love has lived a typical Rock Chick’s existence – partying hard, late night and lots of illicit substances. Now aged 52, Courtney is past the age where she can snare young pop stars in their prime of life having lost a good deal of her youth and beauty.
Her career is still going strong in her 50s however, and she is most well known now for starring as the tough mother in the huge hit TV Series Sons Of Anarchy. She’s also collaborated on numerous Rock Albums with musicians like Michael Stipe (REM), and has released several solo singles. Obviously a multi talented woman despite her fading looks! Way to go Courtney!
Steven Segal, a 7th Dan black belt in Akido started off life teaching Akido in Japan (the only non Japanese tutor teaching in Japanese Dojo’s at that time). He got his first star break in the hit movie Above The Law (1988) – and five hit movies followed.
As you can see from the picture, he’s aged a lot and put on a ton of weight. He carries it well at 6″4 but due to his improbable size and increased public exposure to real fighting like MMA, there are now rumours circulating that his martial arts skills are actually mostly fake. We hope not because bck in the day they were great, but like the man himself, they look a little jaded and bloated now!
Who can ever forget Brooke Shields? Her appearance as an under 20 in The Blue Lagoon as an astonishingly beautiful young woman made her the favourite of men all over the world. She had an ungodly, other worldly beauty about her that is very difficult to match and has hardly been replicated since.
Discovered as a child model in New York in the 70s, Shields became world famous after appearing in the Blue Lagoon, and later caught the eye of world class tennis player Andre Agassi. They later split, and as Shields has lost some of her luminous beauty, the acting roles have unfortunately dried up but she will remain in our hearts as one of the most beautiful women to ever appear on screen.
Cybil Shepard was a huge star in the 70s and 80s and you can kind of see why in the before picture : beautiful and wholesome looking, she was the archtypal all American girl. She starred in numerous movies and TV series, and always carried off the roles with a sense of good humour and feminine allure.
Fast forward 20 years and she’s unfortunately aged badly, looking more like everyone’s favourite mum nowadays. As a result we don’t see her on our TV screens anymore, as you will see time and again on this list, women who lose their looks are virtually always replaced by younger, more beautful actresses.
Debbie Harry, most famous for a string of hits in the 70s and 80s with the new wave band “Blondie” was a real beauty back then as our picture shows.
Unfortunately Father time catches up with us all and now, 40 years later she’s lost most of her looks, but you can surely forgive her that at aged 71 in 2016. She will be fondly remembered just as she was in her prime: talented, beautiful and a fantasy for every North American man over 18 during that time period!
“You’re so vain”, belted out Carly Simon in the 1970’s to worldwide acclaim (the song was apparently written about Warren Beaty, with who Simon once had a brief fling before being jilted). She also fammously wrote and sang the hit James Bond theme tune “Nobody does it better” She was a big star famous for her amazing voice and passionate songs.
She’s aged considerably as the photo shows but Carly is still releasing hit albums in 2016. Her last album was in 2014 and went to number 1 in the US, and she is reported to be making a new album with her children. Long may she continue.
Star of the hit movie “Splash”, and Blade Runner, Daryl Hannah instantly shot to worldwide fame due to her extraordinary looks, amazing body and considerable acting talent.
She’s had well known relationships with US president John F Kennedy and singer Jackson Browne, but in 2016 is currently dating musician Neil Young.
When you are as beautiful as Daryl Hannah was, the only way you can age is down, and Daryl is unfortunately not immune to the ageing process as our picture shows. However unlike some of the female celebs on this list, Daryl has accepted this as part of life and has opted out of cosmetic surgery operations.
Let’s hope we see her on screen again soon!
Dolly Parton, cherised worldwide for her bubbly personality and hit country music songs, Dolly is the most well loved country singer of all time. She has had a scarcely believable 41 Top 10 country music albums, and 110 charted singles in the USA. This is a record that will probably never be topped.
She’s famous and open about her plastic surgery operations and makes no apology for wanting to look as good as she can for as long as possible. Of course she has aged as ur photo shows (she is now in her 70s), but whilst her outer form has declined, her songs will probably live on forever.
We salute you, Dolly Parton!
Still a huge star worldwide, our picture shows that even one of the No1 celebrities worldwide cannot hold back the years. Now in her late 40s Jennifer Lopez is beginning to show her age.
She’s had a good run though, voted the best looking female celebrity 3 times throughout the 90s and 2000s, dated other top celebrities, released numerous best selling albums, and starred in several movies (some like Anaconda should not be talked about in polite company!)
Another blast from the past, Jane Fonda is a two time academy award winning actress, writer, former model and fitness Guru. She was a huge, worldwide star in the 60s, 70s and 80s but faded from view during the late 80s onwards.
Now 78, she spends her time as a writer and political activist, describing herself as a feminist, and co founded the Women’s Media Centre in 2005, designed to inrease opportunity for women in Media.
A former supermodel in the 80s and 90s, Kathy Ireland proves that no one escapes the ravages of age. Now 53 our picture shows she’s opted to go for cosmetic surgery – note the lack of lines on the forehead and around the eyebrows, but there is no hiding the ageing process on the rest of her face.
She’s not just pretty though – she’s a real business brain and founded “Kathy Ireland Worldwide” in 1993, which has gone on to sells billions of dollars worth of goods worldwide. She’s now worth over $420m, making her one of the richest former models in the world.
The multi talented Barbara Streisland – a singer, song writer and actress was possibly the world’s most famous star during the 70s 80s and 90s and is still fondly remembered today. A stunnungly beautiful woman in her younger years, she is now a worldwide icon, and was nominated for an incredible 10 Grammy Awards.
She is one of only a handful of stars that have won an Emmy award, Oscar, and Tony award – and one of 2 that has won a Peabody.
She’s also one of the best selling music artists of all time, selling over 65 million albums in the United States, making her a true legend. Now aged 78, we hope she lives on for many years to come.
19. Kelly Mcgillis
Kelly Mcgillis, most famous for her role in Top Gun is now really beginning to show her age (59). Here we picture her alongside her Co Star, Mr Tom Cruise and it’s amazing to see the difference in how they have aged – Tom barely looks any different (if not better), though Mcgillis looks like a different woman and has lost 50-70% of her looks.
Mcgillis discountinued her acting career after the 1988 movie The Accused – which she confessed to disliking intensely – and instead pursued a career on made for TV movies and series instead. She’s been appearing regularly on TV ever since the 80s since she made the switch.
18. Mickey Rourke
Mickey Rourke was famously part of the “Brat Pack” of actors in the 80s alongside Emilio Estevez and Tom Cruise, who all later went onto worldwide stardom. Unlike the rest of the Brat Pack, Mickey seemed more attracted to the darker, seedier side of life and was well known as a Hollywood player – addicted to attractive women and a partying lifestyle.
Whilst his character hasn’t changed, his appearance certainly has! You can see from the photo just how dramatic the difference is – through a combination of natural ageing, a rollicking lifestyle and believe it or not, Mickey also fought several professional boxing bouts. Being punched in the face repeatedly doesn’t do much for anyone’s looks!
17. Vince Vaughn
Vince Vaughn, famous for his role in the ultra cool comedy drama Swingers (1996). At the time he as lean and attractive (and very tall too – he’s actually 6″5! Fast forward 20 years aged 46 Vince has unfortunately piled on the pounds and looks a little bloated.
Men are generally lucky as they age though and you can see that if Vince bothered to embark on a proper diet, he would soon lose the pounds and regain his former glory. He hasn’t gone nuts with bad plastic surgery like some of the celebs on this list!
16. Carrie Fisher
Carrie Fisher is best known, of course, for her role as Princess Leia in the worldwide phenomena known as Star Wars in the 70s. Playing the love interest to the rougish Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Fisher went on to other roles and later reprised the Princess Leia roles in the Star Wars movies. Her career never matched ths highs of Star Wars however, so she turned her hand to writing books and actually released a best selling book called “Postcards from the edge” in 1987.
As you can see from the photo Fisher has aged considerably and thus her film roles have dried up. However, she returned as an elderly Princess Leia in the reboot of the Star Wars franchise in Star Wars episode VII – The Force Awakens. She was nominated for a 2016 Saturn Award for her portrayal.
Janet Jackson – one of the siblings of the world renowned Jackon family has been a star in her own right throughout the 80s (though of course not on the same level as Michael). However she is a phenomenally successful artist in her own right and has sold a scarcely believable 100 million albums throughout her career. She has been cited numerous times as an inspiration for many current best selling pop artists.
Now 50 years old it is clear that Janet Jackson has aged considerably, but it doesn’t appear to have stopped her living her life in any way. Incredibly, in October 2016 media reports eventually confirmed she is to become a mother at age 50. She has obviously taken a break from her music career in order to focus on building her family.
Now 67, Jessica Lange has received worldwide acclaim for her acting exploits, ever since she first appeared on the big screen in 1976, playing the Damsel in distress in the remake of the 1933 classic King Kong. Her performance was so strong that she won the Golden Globe for new star of the year in her very first outing. To this day she remains one of the most decorated and well loved actresses in history, and is one of 22 actresses to have won the Triple Crown of acting.
However as our picture shows, even talent of this magnitude, money and the best surgery that money can buy cannot stop the cruel ageing process. Jessica has changed from the fresh faced beautiful young woman into the more mature look you see today.
She’s still acting even now in her late 60s and still continues to win awards.
Though not as acclaimed as some of the celebrities on this list, Urusla Andress must surely rank amongst the most beautiful in her younger years. The Swiss beauty played a James Bond girl in 1962, and some say remains to this day the most beautiful Bond Girl ever to appear on screen. She was a vision of beauty in 1962, emerging from the sea and meeting Sean Connery (also in his prime in those days), a scene which lives on in 2016 as cinematic legend. Incidentally she won a Golden Globe Award for this role for New Star of the year, way back in 1962.
Sadly time has been cruel to Ursula, as our photo shows. She has unfortunately had a very chequered love live, having been linked with numerous famous actors, football stars and celebrities – but none of these relationships lasted.
Now 80 years old, Urusla gave birth to 1 son, Dimitri Hamlin, who is now 36 years old – she is a devoted mother and regularly visits with her son in Los Angeles.
The Terminators nemesis, Linda Hamilton first came to prominence in the smash hit Terminator movie in 1984, playing Sarah Conor – a role which earned her worldwide recognition, and which she reprised in the next Terminator movie. She was nominated for one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world in 1990, following the success of the 2nd Terminator movie, and went on to host Saturday Night Live.
She met and married the director James Cameron on the set of the 2nd Terminator movie, but sadly the marriage only lasted 2 years, ending in divorce in 1999. Incidentally the divorce settlement was one of the largest of all time – a cool $50 million!
As our photo shows, Hamilton has aged considerably since the Terminator days, but she still acts to this day, albeit in bit roles on TV Series.
Helen Mirren is a British actress, well known in the UK and much loved for her appearance on British TV and film for over 5 decades. Like some of the other actresses on this list, Mirren has received numerous notable acting awards, including 2 Emmys and 5 BAFTA awards.
As you can see from her younger photo, Mirren had a mischevious and saucy look when she was younger, which has faded considerably over time (she is now 71). However we must give her credit, because she regularly posts amusing selfies on Instagram, and humourous articles for British publications which shows that she doesn’t take herself too seriously and is still enjoying life in her later years.
Yet another award winning American actress to make our list, Susan Sarandon is probably best known for her role in Bill Durham, and Thelma And Louise alongside Geena Davies (another entry on this list!)
Her role in Bill Durham catapulted her into the A List, where she has pretty much stayed ever since (she is now 70). She also met her then husband Tim Robbins on the set, and had 2 sons with him. The relationship unfortunately ended in 2009 (what is it with actresses who don’t stay married until old age on this list)
Sarandon is well known for her political activism activities, and is a spokesperson for a notable charity dealing with World Hunger.
Martha Stewart is an American business woman, writer, and television personality.
She founded the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in 1970 and the copany has sprawled out into numerous branches over the decades, bringing her succcess in publishing, broadcasting and even e-commerce.
She’s also published several best selling books, and hosted long running TV shows running from 2005 – 2012.
As you can see from our photo, Martha was a considerable beauty years ago but at over 70 now, she is more well known for her business success. At least she is ageing gracefully and not trying to hold back time with ghastly cosmetic surgery operations, unlike some of her female counterparts on this list.
Sophia Loren is the first Italian actress to appear in our list. Born in 1934, Loren was first noticed after entering a beauty pageant, and she started her film career aged only 15. Her career finally took off after she won a five picture contract with Paramount pictures, which propelled her onto the world stage.
Although part of an older era, Loren was stunningly beautiful in her prime and it is saddening to see the withering effect that time has had on her looks.
Unlike the majority of the female actresses on this list however, Loren remained happily married until her husband died in 2009. She met Carlo Ponti when she was just 16, and he was 37. They eventually had 2 children together.
Although she has aged, we think you can still see a certain purity in Loren’s looks, a reflection of a life well lived.
Jane Seymour, OBE is probably best known for her appearance in the James Bond film live and let die, as the demur but beautiful card reader who forecasts death for the smooth talking Roger Moore. She’s another award winning actress to make our list, having garnered an Emmy, two Golden Globe awards and she also has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
As you can see from the photo, Seymour was a classically beautiful, demure looking godess back in the day, and although age has hit her, she still retains some of her former world class beauty. Now aged 65, and living in London, UK, Jane no longer appears on the cinema or TV screens, yet she will live on as an example of classic British Beauty from a bygone era.
Another blast from the past, Faye Dunaway was born in 1941, making her now 75 years old. She’s yet another celebrated American actress of yesteryear – winning an Academy Award, three Golden Globes, plus a BAFTA and Emmy (just to make the full set, you understand)
As you can see from our pic, she was a raving beauty back in the day but has been cruelly stuck down by Father Time. We would write more about her, but she is a notoriously private woman and has given only very rare interviews during her time in the public eye.
Because of her French heritage and service to the arts, the government of France made her an officer of the Order Of Arts And Letters in 2011.
Diana Rigg was a sultry , mischevious and minxy looking woman in her prime as our picture shows – gauranteed to set lots of male loins stirring. She starred in the famous British TV Series the Avengers – playing Emma Peel, and was catapulted to stardom.
Rigg is still active today, and plays the worldy wise and cynical Olenna Tyrell in HBO’s Game Of Thrones (pictured)
We think she is possibly the coolest female on this list – she is a big critic of feminism – citing that it “makes women miserable” and that “women are in a much stronger position than men”.
What can we say, she was a stunning, radiant beauty back in the day, with a great attitude to match. It’s rare to find her ilk in todays times…
A quick glance at our photo shows a young Diane Keaton was a sight to behold, looking cheeky, geeky but still somehow incredibly feminine and desirable in her younger days. Surely enough to capture the attention of any red blooded man.
She’s another Award winning actress, having won an Oscar for her role in Annie Hall alongside Woody Allen – a partnership for which is probably most well known. Over the years she’s become well known as a comic actress, and still plies her trade to this day.
To her credit, she is an outspoken critic of Plastic Surgery, stating that “I’m stuck in this idea that I need to be authentic … My face needs to look the way I feel.”
Despite her obvious ageing, Keaton became the face of L’oreal in summer of 2006. This is a lady who doesn’t let age get in her way!
Perhaps the most well known current Award Winning actress on our list – Meryl Streep is a two time Academy Award winner and well known for her serious acting chops. In her younger days she was also a considerable beauty as our photo shows, but age has withered her somewhat.
She’s clearly a smart woman though, as she has avoided Plastic Surgery, aged as best she can and now plays roles that are more suited to a wiser, older woman.
She’s also cloned herself with a hot young daughter, so that she can relive her youth in her later years.
We just wish she would stay out of politics and stick to where her talents lie, in acting.
The frontman of Aerosmith Steven Tyler has certainly lived a full life – and age is beginning to catch up with him as our picture attests. His band reached its peak of popularity in the 70s, but declined dramatically during the late 70s and early 80s and Tyler went off the rails with his personal life, with wild partying and a rock star lifestyle.
He eventually went into rehab and once again rose to prominence the the mid 80s onwards as he cleaned up his lifestyle – so much so that he made the Rolling Stones Top 100 rock singers, alongside luminaries such as Axl Rose and Mick Jagger.
Christina Aguilera, a recent star with many hit records behind her has had the misfortune to age rather quickly – she is still under 40 after all. It would appear that she just loves her food too much, having increased in dress size by about 6 sizes.
Like the stars on our comprehensive list of 25 celebs who went from FIT to FAT,the excess weight has taken a massive toll on her previously gorgeous appearance
She still appears on stage in 2016 and is reputed to be getting her weight under control with a punishing exercise regime, healthy diet and avoiding junk food. We guess this doesn’t come naturally to her, (or these other celebs on our list!, with her Latin temperament.
