Born in 1981 to and Israeli father and American mother, Natalie Portman is a successful actress, director, and producer. Natalie first attended Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Maryland and then went on to a Long Island elementary school, Solomon Schechter Day School of Nassau County which was in New York. Natalie attended high school on Long Island and in 1999 she enrolled at Harvard with the intention of studying psychology while working as an actress.
She graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, citing that she didn’t care if college ruined her acting career as she’d rather be smart.
After graduating, Natalie returned to Israel to attend graduate courses at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Thanks to all of this, Natalie has built herself quite the reputation among the entertainment industry for being a Brainiac. What’s more, Natalie speaks German, Hebrew, Japanese, Arabic, and French. We’d say that’s not too shabby at all.
